Orpha's Farm

Directions to Orpha's Farm:

From Downtown Seattle:

Take I-5 south (about 2 miles) from Downtown Seattle, until the West Seattle exit (West Seattle freeway). The exit is at the Tully's building.
Go west on the West Seattle Freeway, over the bridge, up the hill, and you will be on Fauntleroy Way. Keep following Fauntleroy Way; you will need to bear left after about three lights to stay on it. Fauntleroy Way goes directly to the ferry dock.
From the Airport: Follow Directions to I-5 north until the West Seattle exit, the proceed as above
Special Ferry Boat Notes: Once you cross California Ave (while you're on Fauntleroy), you'll go about a mile, and then start to see a park on your right. Proceed with caution and if you see cars with their taillights on going slowly in the right hand parking lane, that's the queue for the ferry, you should get in it.

Pick up a schedule when you get on the ferry to find out when they leave Vashon to come back to Fauntleroy (or check the website, and I've also attached a .pdf file). (note the ferries become less frequent in the evening).
Tickets are $17.00 round trip for the car and driver and an additional $4.00 per passenger (under 5 years old is free, 5-18 is 20% off).
When you get off the ferry, you will be on Vashon Highway. Keep following this for about 7 miles, through the main town, through the next four way stop/flashing light, until you get to 204th SW (Sound Food on your left).
Make a right (west) on 204th (0.7 mi)
Follow the road as it bends left (south) and turns into 211th (1 mi)
Follow the road as it bends right (west) and becomes 220th (1.3 mi)
Make a left (south) onto Wax Orchards Road (1.25 mi). (Calvary Church at the corner)
Make a right (west) onto SW Bates Road. The driveway is straight ahead just before the road veers to the left (south).
